Naked?

Oh my.. I’ve been abandoning my blog for what feels like years. Sorry blog!! I dressed up for you today I hope you forgive me.

My husband asked me today if I felt naked – as you see I just had leggings on with a t-shirt that barely covered my bottoms. Surprisingly, no.. I didn’t feel naked. I thought I would, but I figured not a lot of people were looking, I knew I wasn’t special

Also, I got the leggings!! The one pair I told you few weeks ago (or months??). I think the one in Topshop has thicker material – I can understand why they’re more expensive. However, Forever 21 ones aren’t bad at all!! They fit really good and they stretch gracefully. Loooove!

I think summer is over. It was raining the whole day today. It was cold and I was thrilled. I love the smell of rain and the cool weather. I miss winter already.

Ironically, there’s one summer movie I really really want to watch: 500 Days of Summer!

I love Zooey Deschanel!! A bigger fan after I heard her singing. Anyone knows the song “Sweet Darling” by She and Him??? Love it!!

Rest In Peace, Michael..

Starting today, July 7th will mark the funeral of the King of Pop. True or not, we have less than 24 hours to see. Some things are certain, both private and public memorial for Michael Jackson will be held later today.

June 25th 2009, the first time I was told that Michael Jackson was dead, I was very sure it was a hoax, while I googled “Michael Jackson” at the same time. When I saw wikipedia’s highlight “Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American recording artist, entertainer and businessman.”, I was stunned.. “this is happening”.

For a day, though still in shock, I was calm. I was on the internet for hours, finding out what happened. CNN was on, I was starving for more news. I listened to Michael Jackson’s songs. I still could not believe it. I fell asleep thinking about we had lost a legend, I woke up to another thought of him being dead.

The next few days I was accompanied by unstoppable tears when everything started to sink in. I watched people’s tribute, including the Philippine inmates on youtube, New Kids on the Block tribute during their concerts and BET Awards tribute where Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo sang “I’ll Be There”, more tears rolled down.

For 30 seconds I felt good when I read someone’s message “Michael Jackson is not dead, it’s just a stunt to promote his London gigs”. I wanted to believe it so bad that I did believe it. Then, I remember Jermaine Jackson’s speech where he said “My brother, the legendary King of Pop passed away..” the reality came back rushing in.

No words can describe our loss. Yet, we’re still trying to find the appropriate ones. The result is endless.

I am hoping that in less than 24 hours, Michael Jackson will finally be laid down to rest in peace. And we all will continue to celebrate his legacy. A tribute:

Hey Bumblebee, You Can’t Fly!

Watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I saw one review saying that it was a bad bad terrible movie, rather than wasting money you’d better watch it in the living room with people playing cans fighting in the background for the sound effect. Well flip the coin, ’cause I’m on the other side.

The movie was.. 2 hours something, that long. But well worth it. Shia Leboeuf has grown to be a fine young man. Megan Fox is hot hot hot.. I am so jealous of the way her body and face are assembled :p Lovely locations – been there – some nostalgic excitement. Thrilling fights of the steel vehicles slash giant robots – somewhat too much that one day I felt like listening to junks fighting.

The only drawback, there wasn’t enough of Tyrese Gibson.. Why?? This guy is a brilliant entertainer!!

Yesterday was the premiere of My Sister’s Keeper. Today I saw some headlines that Abigail Breslin really soars. Yay! She’s the reason why I want to see that movie.

It’s a New Day

I got myself the Sims 3 for PC over the weekend and actually installed it today. It gave me headache as it kept crashing and restarting my PC. Turns out my PC is too old for the game and I didn’t realize it.

In the end though I managed to play the game.. and cheat! haha.. but I didn’t save anything yet ’cause I wasn’t happy with the designs, characters and traits. But if I continued playing, I will be up until tomorrow morning so I’m updating my blog instead and will go to bed soon after.

Sunday afternoon I met up with my cousin, shoppin’ and gossipin’ around and had great dinner. I’ve pictures of the food but I do not know how to upload it since it’s in the device and not the memory card. So for now, here’s us:

I love how Canada’s Next Top Model show did Linsay’s eyes in Episode 4. She’s from the city where I live btw, I just found out.. xD Go Linsay!! Err no, go Maryam!! I love her more.. xx

Peacock Day & 123

I went to the movie yesterday to see The Taking of Pelham 123. Great movie, I totally recommend it! John Travolta was so good at playing the bad guy. Hated him almost as much as I hated Heath Ledger’s Joker. Denzel Washington’s acting wasn’t challenged very much. He spoke most of the time, revealing his sexy voice – and handsome feature for all the close ups.

Anyways I put on my Delft paint pot yesterday and kinda surprised to see it turned kinda teal on my lids. I thought it’d be dark, grey-ish blue. And it has golden glitter on it too. Very nice though.

And the eye make up matched my peacock top xD

I need an employment *fingers-crossed*. I’ve been learning how to play guitar and now I can play Eagles’ Love Will Keep Us Alive melody and Cat Stevens’ Father and Son chords. I tried Extreme’s More than Words, hmmm pretty tough.. looking for more songs to play – easy ones, beginner here.. Any recommendations?

Screaming Kid

Nice weather but very hot in my apt. Went to the mall with my friend and her son. At the end of the day he was just screaming.. Poor kid..

I was bored out of my mind I started putting eyeshadow on. It looks cheesy. Ahhhh why can’t my camera do justice??

I Plead Guilty..

It’s been so HOT here lately and I’ve been stayin’ at home.. Out sometimes for groceries shopping. And when I do that, I’m comfortable in my perfect white t-shirt and flip flops. Not so fashionable.

The latter, I wore to a baseball game.. Yeap, baseball game.. and I just had to wear heels. I’m sure people thought I was crazy – I was the only one in heels, the rest were with sneakers and flip flops of course. But what they didn’t know, how good it felt and how the heels were actually comfortable even for walking the uneven orange ground of baseball field. Oh and not to forget I excessorize on both occasions.

First of all I wanna congratulate Kris Allen for winning American Idol! Yay!!

Somebody got offended over what I said about an American Idol contestant today. It wasn’t that bad, I just said what I disliked. This girl, she kinds of made a whole speech on my facebook wall, which I think was so unnecessary. Whoa.. who the hell does she think she is, trying to defend him that much?? Whatever, I don’t give a damn.

Played a little dress up today, and had some fun with the pictures, I took the background of an upcoming movie, New York, I Love You.

I got my driver’s license – theory wise – on Tuesday.. 25 questions, I got all right.
I got a paycheck on Wednesday.. for a 30 minutes job. Good numbers, can get me two pair of Aldo shoes on clearance. Though I put the money in my savings instead
